Key Responsibilities- Property Maintenance: Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the property.
- Work Order Management: Perform work orders as assigned by the maintenance supervisor and/or community manager, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Asset Preservation: Oversee maintenance activities to ensure the proper care and maintenance of the property, safeguarding its long-term value and protecting the interests of property stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the onsite team to align operational goals with the broader community objectives, working towards a shared vision of success.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in maintenance skills, showcasing strong teamwork and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of property maintenance practices, local regulations, and market trends.
- Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with team members and residents.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities efficiently, and meeting the physical demands of the role, including intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrrying light and heavy loads, climbing stairs and ladders.
- Industry Designations: Industry designations (ARM, CAM, NALP, RPM) strongly preferred.
- AppFolio Experience: Basic computer proficiency and experience with AppFolio preferred.
