Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping professional to join our team as a full-time Shift Lead at a prominent hospital. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff on 2nd shift, ensuring that all clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in healthcare, preferably in a housekeeping or service-related field, and possess a strong understanding of hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks and maintenance of high standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, supplies, and equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent required; prior experience in healthcare preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds
