About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Career Starter. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of various construction projects, including heavy civil construction and materials production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of construction projects, including digging, spreading, and shoving dirt and gravel.
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools.
  • Perform a wide variety of manual tasks, including pipe assembly, pipe cutting and laying, removing forms from set concrete, taking layout shots, and directing equipment operators on cuts and fills.
  • Clean and care for tools, materials, and work areas.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction is a plus.
  • GED/high school diploma or related work experience is required.
  • Trade school is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure.
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
