Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Release Specialist to join our team at Intuitive Surgical. As a Product Release Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Release
    • Review and verify device history records (DHRs) for accuracy and completeness.
    • Certify compliance to product specifications and traceability requirements.
    • Ensure that any deviations from the manufacturing process are properly recorded and authorized.
  • Inventory Management
    • Perform inventory transactions and ensure that released products are transacted in a timely manner.
  • Process Improvement
    • Participate in department process improvement projects and activities as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Minimum GED or high school diploma.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2+ years of operational experience in a product quality or certified manufacturing environment.
  • Skills
    • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with internal customers.
    • Quick study and continuous learner with ability to learn new processes quickly.
    • Perceptive and detail-oriented with ability to sense variations from the norm.
    • Initiative and follow-through with ability to complete commitments without excessive follow-up.
    • Good judgment with ability to draw correlations to prior experience and identify precedent in ambiguous circumstances.
    • Ethical and independent with ability to conduct themselves in a manner that does not invite doubt about their ability to consistently execute process without direct supervision.
    • Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time onsite role with availability to manufacturing teams and for specialized roles.
  • Must be available to walk long distances to validate release forms.
  • OT will be required as needed per business need or per Supervisor/Manager discretion.
  • Must be available to travel as needed 5-10%.
