Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a qualified Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join a dynamic team in an established facility in Vermont.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis of patient ailments and injuries. This role involves operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring images meet quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Position patients correctly and administer contrast materials when necessary.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and perform routine maintenance.
  • Follow protocols to obtain high-quality images and maintain patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
  • Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in imaging technology.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.
Requirements
  • ARRT (R) (CT) certified
  • Vermont Radiologic Technologist License needed upon start date
  • BLS certified
