Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including physical exams, chronic disease management, and preventive healthcare.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical exams, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, as authorized by state and hospital regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in internal medicine.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our practice.
Requirements
  • MSN degree from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice as an NP in Massachusetts.
  • 3 years of experience as an NP in primary care, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
