Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Verification Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our SOC DFT team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing verification flows for our cutting-edge hardware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze architecture and design specifications to identify verification requirements.
  • Develop and implement verification plans, including test benches and constrained random tests.
  • Collaborate with designers to verify DFT implementation and run various checks.
  • Debug failures, run gate-level simulations, and supervise bugs to ensure high-quality results.
  • Manage schedules and support multi-functional engineering efforts.
  • Assist in verification flows, automation scripts, and regressions.
  • Work with test engineers to bring up test patterns on silicon.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in large processors and/or SOC designs.
  • Hands-on experience in directed or random verification, coverage analysis, and assertions.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a desire to seek new challenges.
  • Good knowledge of general logic design, and exposure to DFT is a plus.
