Metal Fabrication Specialist

Tidewater Staffing is currently seeking skilled professionals for work in local shipyards. As a Shipfitter, you will assemble, modify, layout, fabricate, repair, and install metal components to form structural assemblies.
About the Role- Assemble and fit parts together using blueprints and layout specifications.
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring devices.
- Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to ensure specifications are met.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using various machines and tools.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of industry safety standards. If you have experience working with metal fabrication and assembly, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements- 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to read blueprints and layout specifications.
- Skilled in the use of various machines and tools.
