Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Specialist to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. As an Installation Specialist at Serco North America, you will have the opportunity to work on dynamic projects supporting the U.S. Navy and its ships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install various equipment, machinery, and computer systems for the U.S. Navy Ships.
  • Service and repair major components for the ships.
  • Manage fabrication and assembly of electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
  • Review and follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Work in high-heat spaces and climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders.
  • Multitask and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Prioritize safety above all else.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • You must be able to travel up to 50%.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is required.
  • Ability to work any shift/designated hours required.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office products.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
