Salem Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our established Palliative Care team. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care and drive continuous improvement in our services.
### Key Responsibilities
* Provide medical leadership and direction to our Palliative Care team
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
* Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Palliative Medicine and apply evidence-based practices to our care
### Requirements
* Current, unrestricted Oregon medical license
* Graduation from an approved school of medicine
* ABMS/AOA Board Certification in a medical or surgical specialty, and American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (ABHPM) certification or completion of a Palliative Medicine Fellowship
* At least three years of hospital experience in Palliative Care
* Leadership experience preferred
