Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic and growing industrial design team at SharkNinja. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our diverse range of household products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and seamlessly integrated into our customers' lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the UI/UX design process for household products, encompassing user research, design concept development, prototyping, usability testing, and product execution.
  • Collaborate with industrial designers, product development, marketing, mechanical & software engineers to define project goals, requirements, and user needs, translating them into actionable design solutions, and driving innovative approaches to elevate the user experience and deliver consumer satisfaction.
  • Lead the UI/UX design development tasks, mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required in U/UX Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Human Factor Design, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of user interface development experience for both hardware and digital products. Expertise in UI/UX Design development practices.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools: sketching, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking leading to creative solutions and innovative ideas.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Proven track record for delivering products through production, with a strong understanding of software/hardware development processes and interface design.
  • Ability to work independently, own the entire development process with minimal supervision or guidance, and be a strong team player.
  • An original portfolio of work samples that clearly demonstrates design and product development process.
