Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and Assisting Patients: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Registration and Scheduling: Accurately register patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely care.
  • Support in Patient Care: Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks, including vital signs and Point of Care Testing.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, manage medical supplies, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Graduation or equivalent, with completion of a certified nursing assistant, EMT, or medical assistant program.
  • Licenses: BLS and Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
  • Skills:
    • Service Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, ensuring patient satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Vital Signs and PHI Knowledge: Accurately take vital signs and maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Organizational and Communication Skills: Effectively manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals, and maintain a professional demeanor.
    • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of in-patient or medical office experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Reports to: Clinic Manager.
  • Environment: Requires knowledge of safety standards in healthcare settings.
  • Physical Requirements: Bending, lifting, and long periods of sitting.
