About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodial Services Manager to join our team at Steamboat Pilot & Today. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our office buildings, guest bathrooms, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Manage and supervise a team of custodians, including scheduling, training, hiring, motivating, encouraging, coaching, reviewing, and disciplining as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Implement best management practices for cleanliness and sanitation to support an exceptional destination resort experience at Steamboat Pilot & Today.
  • Supply Management: Order and stock all necessary supplies and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Communication: Administer communication software tools for team assignments and daily activities.
  • Employee Development: Coach staff toward the behavioral expectations of our company culture guide.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as any regulatory requirements.
  • Safety: Ensure safety policies are trained and adhered to by all direct reports.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: Professional cleaning experience required, with prior supervisor or above leadership experience.
  • Communication Skills: Spanish communication skills preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Safely lift approximately 30-50 lbs on a regular basis, run a vacuum cleaner for extended periods, walk, bend over, and stand for long periods, and ski or snowboard proficiency at an intermediate level.
