Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Handler to join our team at HealthTrust Performance Group. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, stock, and replenish inventory in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify quantities and ensure label accuracy on all products
  • Operate and use computer systems to complete daily tasks as needed
  • Practice and promote teamwork in all duties
  • Maintain knowledge of products and procedures relative to job duties, distribution center, and health system operations
  • Provide proper communication of unresolved issues or required maintenance in a timely manner
  • Identify, adapt, and pursue priorities; Utilize available work hours effectively and actively seeks other tasks upon completion
  • Maintain a safe work environment and wear proper personal protective equipment when appropriate
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is Preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Warehouse Management Systems
  • Knowledge and experience with lot controlled and expiration dated product handling
  • Demonstrated mathematical ability to count accurately and follow written instructions
  • Must be able to manage multiple, complex instructions simultaneously
  • Ability to reach and lift supplies and boxes of reasonable weight
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and repetitively lift and carry a 50 pound load as exhibited during a post-offer functional capacity testing process
  • Ability to work long hours in a warehouse preparing and loading freight
  • Familiarity with computers and keyboard proficiency
