Responsibilities:
  • Triage after-hours patient and family phone calls, determining the need for services
  • Assess patient and family needs, initiating interventions as necessary
  • Communicate with the attending physician and interdisciplinary team members
  • Perform clinical pronouncements of death and provide support to families
  • Maintain accurate clinical records through timely preparation of care plans and notes
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
  • Minimum of two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
  • Demonstrated skill in nursing practices and clinical judgments
  • Ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles
