Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of fresh meat production, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the quality and freshness of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Meat Production: Maintain the desired level of fresh meat production, ensuring quality and freshness of products.
- Department Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including equipment and work areas.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, rotating stock, and preventing shrinkage.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, including trim specifications, temperatures, and handling procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, as required by state laws.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move rapidly, with frequent bending, twisting, and turning.
- Mathematical Skills: Perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues and customers, including written and verbal communication.

CompensationThe salary range for this position is $17.75 - $26.78 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
