Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of fresh meat production, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the quality and freshness of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Meat Production: Maintain the desired level of fresh meat production, ensuring quality and freshness of products.
  • Department Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including equipment and work areas.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, rotating stock, and preventing shrinkage.
  • Food Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, handling and storing products properly.
  • Merchandising: Maintain attractive and well-merchandised displays, ensuring eye-catching visuals and clear signage.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide friendly, courteous, and respectful service to customers and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, walk, and move rapidly, with frequent bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate meat cutting equipment, including scales, knives, and band saws.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food handlers certification.
  • Math Skills: Perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
