ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Senior Third-Party Risk Management Analyst will engage with IT stakeholders, project leads, and business executives to oversee vendor risk evaluations necessary for integrating cloud solutions or managed services. This role involves collaborating with vendors to gather responses for the TPRM vendor assessment questionnaire, conducting thorough third-party risk evaluations promptly, and ensuring risk approvals align with established protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to the foundational processes for onboarding cloud solutions or managed services.
  • Coordinate contributions from various stakeholders to facilitate vendor reviews.
  • Conduct risk evaluations of third-party cloud solutions by analyzing questionnaire responses and supporting documentation to assess the vendor's internal control environment.
  • Ensure risk approvals are obtained following established procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of third-party risk assessments within the defined framework.
  • Generate metrics on solutions and report findings to management.
  • Conduct periodic ongoing risk assessments of implemented cloud solutions and managed services.
  • Continuously refine and enhance TPRM processes in collaboration with management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CISA/CTPRA/CCAK certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on TPRM, risk assessments, or internal IT control evaluations/audits.
  • Familiarity with information security and risk frameworks/standards (e.g., ISO 27001/2, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, SOC1/SOC2, CSA CCM, and Shared Assessments SIG) and cloud security practices.
  • Proficient in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor information to various audiences.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proactive in identifying and communicating potential control-related issues.
  • A collaborative team player capable of working effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Highly organized and self-sufficient, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional process and time management skills.
  • A keen eye for detail to identify and escalate issues to management.
  • Effective listening skills and the ability to communicate transparently.
