Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all phases of the model lifecycle, from concept development to deployment.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and prepare datasets for machine learning tasks.
  • Implement, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
  • Perform model-based optimization and synthetic data generation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and program managers to deploy algorithms across various platforms, including edge devices and cloud services.

Essential Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Physics, or a related STEM field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning and materials science.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques for classification, regression, clustering, and generative modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in applying machine learning to computer vision, forecasting, and natural language processing.
  • Familiarity with CUDA and/or OpenCL.
  • Experience in deploying machine learning models in production settings.
  • Background in research and development.
  • A record of peer-reviewed publications.
