Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Season Preparation: Assist in preparing the rental shop and retail shop for the operating season, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and ready for use.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of 20-30 employees, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the rental and retail shops, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure all employees receive the necessary training and support to maintain a safe working environment, and implement policies and procedures to minimize risk.
  • Guest Services: Implement and maintain guest-focused policies and procedures, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive experience for all guests.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Foster effective communication and teamwork among all employees, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current Ski Technician Certification for all equipment in shop.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
