Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team at Truck Country/Stoops Freightliner-Western Star. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire warranty process, ensuring that claims are filed efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Claims Management: Follow and manage claims through the OEM process until they are paid.
  • OEM Credit Memo Reconciliation: Reconcile OEM credit memos in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Warranty Receivable Schedules: Maintain warranty receivable schedules to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Repair Order Closure: Close repair orders promptly to facilitate efficient warranty processing.
  • Customer Refunds: Refund customers via work order or check as applicable.
  • OEM Report Generation: Generate OEM reports and processes as necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Communication: Facilitate communication internally between departments for warranty-related matters.
  • OEM Notification: Notify the Service Department of any warranty changes by the OEM.
  • Warranty Industry Resource: Act as a warranty industry resource throughout the Stoops group.
  • OEM Process Awareness: Ensure dealerships are aware of the OEM warranty processes and rules.
  • Workspace Organization: Maintain workspace in an orderly manner to allow retrieval of documents by co-workers if needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service related to warranty services.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Warranty Industry Knowledge: Knowledgeable of the warranty industry.
  • Engine Terminology: Knowledge of engine terminology and function for heavy-duty trucks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills that promote teamwork and a collaborative environment.
  • Efficiency and Organization: Efficiency and organization are musts, as multi-tasking is part of daily operations.
