Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Staff Accountant/Auditor to enhance our finance team. This permanent role offers a chance to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will significantly contribute to our financial operations. As a Staff Accountant/Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to ensure timely financial reporting.
  2. Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations to maintain accurate ledgers.
  3. Assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts.
  4. Collaborate with the tax department for precise tax return preparation.
  5. Support audit preparations and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
  6. Analyze financial reports for discrepancies and highlight issues to management.
  7. Review and suggest improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
  8. Document business processes to enhance internal controls.
  9. Engage in financial standards setting and forecasting processes.


Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  3. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  5. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  6. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  7. Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  8. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  9. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  11. Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  12. High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information.
  13. Demonstrated ability to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
