Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Camp Property Manager to join our team at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. As a Camp Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our camp property, ensuring that it is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the camp property, including grounds maintenance, facility maintenance, and emergency response.
  • Ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure the long-term sustainability of the camp property.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the camp property is used effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and volunteers.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure that the camp property is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three years of work experience in camp property management, grounds management, or facility maintenance required.
  • Ability to live on-site and provide 24-hour emergency coverage.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair, painting, equipment operation and repair, and inventory.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the organization's goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of grounds-keeping equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
