Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant II to join our team in the Department of Financial Services. As a key member of our Risk Management division, you will be responsible for performing daily Cash Receipts operations within the Trust Fund Management Section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process cash receipts and review for accuracy
  • Determine appropriate accounting information for recording into FLAIR
  • Prepare and deposit cash receipts
  • Report cash receipts information
  • Post cash receipts into the Insurance Management System
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required
  • Four years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration may substitute for experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial deposits, office management, accounting, banking, and/or bookkeeping
  • Experience in receipts/receivables
  • Experience in reconciliation of financial data
  • Experience processing FLAIR revenue and/or disbursement transactions
Working Conditions

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
