Job Overview

Craters & Freighters NY/NJ is a custom crating and freight company providing cost-effective solutions for commercial and residential clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant with bookkeeping experience to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Operations:
    • Manage financial tasks, maintain accounting records, and perform data entry duties.
    • Review and verify invoices, process payments, and maintain vendor files.
  2. Administrative Support:
    • Provide personal assistance to company leadership, handle requests and tasks, and ensure efficient task handling.
    • Coordinate office events, manage office supplies, and act as the point of contact for external vendors.
  3. Customer Service:
    • Work with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes professionally and promptly.
    • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and send follow-up reminders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Netsuite, and Xero required.
  • Experience in Google Suite and Monday.com preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $82,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
