About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Territory Account Executive to join our team at Kong. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your business, strategy, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue net new Enterprise accounts in the West region.
  • Understand customer's business requirements and align Kong solutions that will add value and help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process and contribute to analysis on wins/losses.
  • Effectively manage and leverage Cross-functional relationships with SE, SDR, Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.
  • Foster and Encourage partnership with the Channel, Cloud Providers, Systems Integrators, ISVs, etc.
  • Build large ecosystem-based sales campaigns.
  • Embracing the sales process with attention to detail.
  • Operating with a high standard of excellence.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of hunting experience.
  • A strong desire to succeed.
  • A past track record of success.
  • A key focus on helping customers solve & address their business challenges.
  • Experience with infrastructure software, open source, APIM, and the cloud native landscape preferred.
