Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in the field of Nuclear Medicine in the outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate highly technical instruments to acquire data.
  • Analyze images and evaluate for correctness, ensuring accurate diagnoses.
  • Process films and submit to physicians for approval, maintaining patient comfort, care, and safety.
  • Use RIS, CIS, SMS, and PACS to generate proper documentation and complete all RIS orders with accurate charges.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
