CE Track Faculty Position, Gastroenterology

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a CE Track Faculty Position in Gastroenterology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical care in the Division of Gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Teach Penn medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers in the areas of gastroenterology and hepatology.
- Clinical Care: Provide outpatient and inpatient clinical care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, and/or Penn Medicine at Radnor.
- Research: Participate in clinical, epidemiological, or translational research in an area of gastroenterology or hepatology, and collaborate with others in the Penn community.
- MD or MD/Ph.D. degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- Rank will be commensurate with experience
- Experience in teaching, research, and clinical care in gastroenterology
- Ability to obtain and maintain funding for research, including federal sources
- National and international reputation in the field of gastroenterology
The selected candidate will join a highly interactive and exciting multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment at the University of Pennsylvania as an integral member of the Division of Gastroenterology. The candidate will have opportunities to teach in the GI fellowship and internal medicine residency programs at the Perelman School of Medicine.
