Clinical Educator or Tenure Faculty Position

The Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for Assistant Professor positions in the clinician educator or tenure track. To be eligible, applicants must hold an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
Teaching responsibilities may include participating in the Perelman School's educational programs at the undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate level. Clinical responsibilities may involve direct patient care in the inpatient or outpatient setting. Selected candidates will be expected to maintain an active clinical practice.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include building a research program in areas of high relevance for general internal medicine, such as health services and policy research, comparative effectiveness, health economics, and disease prevention. We are particularly interested in candidates who want to address these issues through engagement with the health system and the division's clinical activities.
Scholarship is required in the CE and Tenure tracks. Selected candidates will have published research.
