About the Position

Hudson Milestones is a leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Residential Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist the Residential Coordinator in overseeing residences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires a responsible and reliable individual who can provide day-to-day support and ensure a smooth operation of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing residences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Provide day-to-day support and ensure a smooth operation of the program
  • Ensure compliance with agency and state regulations
  • Attend meetings and trainings as directed by the Residential Coordinator and Department Director
  • Supervise medication dispersion and documentation
  • Facilitate family and guardian contacts and ensure confidentiality
  • Participate in the new client referral/intake process
  • Assist with ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the department's Continuous Quality Improvement system
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of three years' experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including one year of residential experience
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Supervisory experience in a residential program preferred
