Job Summary

The Assistant Residential Coordinator (ARC) plays a vital role in supporting the Residential Coordinator in overseeing residences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This position requires a responsible and reliable individual who can assist adults with day-to-day living and ensure a smooth operation of the residence.

The ARC is responsible for ensuring compliance with agency and state regulations, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with governing documents, agency policies, and state or federal standards.
  2. Monitor and maintain dietary and nutritional information for clients.
  3. Supervise medication dispersion and documentation.
  4. Facilitate family and guardian contacts, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  5. Report injuries according to Komnino's Law 2018.
  6. Participate in the new client referral/intake process.
  7. Assist with implementing and monitoring the department's Continuous Quality Improvement system.
  8. Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including one year of residential experience.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license.
  • Twenty-one years of age or older.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Supervisory experience in a residential program preferred.
What We Offer

Hudson Milestones offers a competitive hourly rate of $21.50 and a non-exempt position with required weekend shifts.

Applicants must be available to work evening shifts between 2pm-12a and weekends 8a-12a, depending on location schedule.

Locations are available only in the Hudson County, NJ area.

A valid New Jersey driver's license is required, and transfers will be considered.
