Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts based on operational needs.

Position Overview: This role is hybrid, requiring a limited number of in-office days each month, with an initial training period conducted on-site. Flexibility to work remotely is available for the majority of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve complex pharmacy inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical teams, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications related to program requirements.
  • Safeguard and update eligibility information confidentially.
  • Request necessary documentation to complete applications effectively.
  • Maintain adherence to established schedules and performance metrics.
  • Utilize a multi-line phone system to assist with eligibility inquiries.
  • Stay informed about program qualifications to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Ensure productivity standards are consistently met.
  • Offer clerical and administrative assistance for special projects and reports.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in required meetings and contribute to special committees as needed.
  • Work independently while receiving guidance from management.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.

Health and Safety: This position requires adherence to health protocols, including necessary screenings and vaccinations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative support experience.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience in a call center.
  • Prior pharmacy-related experience.
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
