Job Summary

The University of California, Davis is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to serve as Vice Chair of Informatics. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to lead the development of Radiology Informatics vision and strategy, supporting clinical operations, quality improvement, and research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance for the development of Radiology Informatics vision and strategy
  • Participate in the Radiology Department's annual and multi-year information technology roadmap and operational planning framework
  • Collaborate with IT and Radiology Department staff to achieve strategic goals
  • Lead the implementation of innovative solutions to improve clinical operations and patient care

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of California
  • Fellowship trained or undergoing training in Abdominal Imaging
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Abdominal Imaging including MR, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic studies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in abdominal interventional procedures
