About the Role

ATP Flight School is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join its Training Support Department as a Training Support Specialist. This key role will be responsible for ensuring a seamless training experience for students, providing exceptional support and facilitating access to all resources and logistical capabilities of ATP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate student access to resources and logistical capabilities to complete training on-time and on-budget
  • Provide local support to students through the Airline Career Pilot Program
  • Initiate contact with students, respond to their needs, and intervene as necessary
  • Verify student schedules, coach students with scheduling or performance issues, and complete pre-arrival phone calls and checklists
  • Administer FAA Knowledge Tests, schedule and confirm Knowledge Tests, Evaluations, Solo Flights, and checkride milestones
  • Make contingency plans for weather, maintenance, aircraft, and instructor limitations
  • Have intimate knowledge of program outline and facilitate introductions to other ATP departments as required
  • Record and update student tracking system to reflect student success
  • Conduct ATP Housing bi-weekly inspections

Requirements

  • Customer service-oriented work experience required
  • Aviation experience, specifically an understanding of FAA Certification, preferred
  • Private Pilot Certificate or Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
