Display/Delivery Assistant

Havertys is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Display/Delivery Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our merchandise is displayed in a visually appealing and functional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of merchandise displays on the sales floor.
- Support the movement and arrangement of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Provide assistance with deliveries to customers' homes, ensuring that furniture is safely and professionally unloaded and placed within the customer's home.
- Collaborate with the Display Coordinator to process new accessories and maintain the showroom's overall appearance.
- Assist customers in carrying merchandise to their vehicles and provide light housekeeping support as needed.
- Maintain the stockroom in an orderly fashion, including sweeping and mopping.
- Ensure that exits are well-lit and free of obstruction.
- Assist in the maintenance of the grounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, reach, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and/or move up to 150 pounds.
- Pass a physical assessment to ensure ability to perform essential job functions.

Employees are required to wear their uniform and maintain personal appearance according to Havertys' dress code requirements. Steel-toe boots that extend above the ankle are mandatory while on the truck, and employees will be reimbursed for the full cost of the boots up to $75.
