We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator Labor and Delivery to join our Women's Services Unit at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of laboring mothers.
- Assist in delivery, including C-Sections.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide leadership to the nursing team during designated shifts.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS.
- ACLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
