Elementary School Administrator

Job Summary
Carroll County Schools is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Elementary School Principal to lead our school community. The successful candidate will provide educational leadership and supervision to promote student achievement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement school programs aligned with district goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff on ongoing evaluation and improvement of educational programs.
- Promote a safe and conducive learning environment that supports individualized instruction and student learning.
- Ensure implementation of Board policies and procedures at the school level.
- Continuously acquire professional knowledge and stay updated on current developments in education.
- Encourage staff growth and experimentation with new approaches to teaching.
- Organize and maintain accurate record-keeping and reporting for student activities, attendance, and records.
- Coordinate with school staff and district program leaders to develop and implement instructional programs.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and work with teaching staff to modify instructional methods.
- Coordinate recruitment and selection of employees, employee personnel files, and human resource issues.
- Organize regular meetings with teachers for continuing development of instructional techniques.
- Involves staff in program evaluation and planning.
- Encourages parental involvement and effective communication with students and parents.
- Ensures student conduct conforms with school standards and district policies.
- Supervises and evaluates teaching staff and other building employees.
- Manages the budgetary and financial affairs of the school.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in School Administration or related field.
- State Certification as required for positions.
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
- Successful administrative experience at the elementary school level preferred.
