Position Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tailored installations to ensure optimal performance of advanced radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve product-related challenges through comprehensive analysis and engineering skills.
  • Maintain and update radiotherapy and radiosurgery equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend intricate issues and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
  • Guide users in performing calibration checks, surveys, and maintenance of radiation therapy apparatus.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Interpret and analyze signal flow through blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Execute routine preventative maintenance to uphold equipment integrity.
  • Showcase and advocate for Oncology Solutions products and services during client interactions.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in Brainlab and competitive Oncology Solutions offerings through ongoing training and independent research.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or IT Technology is required.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing service operations independently.
  • Proven experience in engineering related to medical devices.
  • Strong computer skills with a focus on hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and perform effectively in challenging clinical settings.
  • Preferred knowledge of medical linear accelerators or microwave RF systems and computer networks.
  • Experience with robotics and/or electro-mechanical systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using testing equipment and hand tools, including oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with confidence in interactions.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
  • Proactive contributor to organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • High comfort level with software and technology.
  • Ability to work safely in confined spaces, including areas with high current and voltage, while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders.
