Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tailored installations to ensure optimal functionality of intricate radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve product challenges through thorough analysis and engineering acumen.
  • Perform updates and maintenance on radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems.
  • Engage effectively with clients to comprehend complex issues and provide adequate troubleshooting support.
  • Guide users in performing calibration checks, surveys, and maintenance of radiation therapy apparatus.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Interpret and analyze signal flow on technical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Showcase and advocate for Oncology Solutions products and services during client interactions.
  • Stay informed about advancements in Brainlab and competing Oncology Solutions offerings through ongoing training and independent research.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or IT Technology is required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage service operations effectively within designated territories.
  • Proven engineering experience with medical devices.
  • Strong computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency in hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and conduct analyses successfully in challenging clinical environments.
  • Preferred knowledge of medical linear accelerators or microwave RF systems and computer networks.
  • Experience with robotics and/or electro-mechanical systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using testing equipment and hand tools, including oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with confidence in interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
  • Proactive in contributing to organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • High comfort level with various software and technology.
  • Ability to work safely in confined spaces, including areas with high current and voltage, while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders.
