Job Overview:
The Senior Assurance Specialist in Third Party Attestation will play a pivotal role in the preparation of third-party attestation reports, encompassing SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for Cybersecurity, and WebTrust for CAs, along with HITRUST, SSPA, ISO, MRC, and CSA STAR. Our team members focus on specific domains to grasp the comprehensive technology risk landscape rather than merely possessing general IT audit knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
Control Environment Management
- Assess and consider relevant policies, laws, rules, and regulations
- Propose enhancements to client internal controls
- Document and verify internal control frameworks
- Oversee and evaluate team performance
- Identify and rank risks
- Communicate opportunities for process enhancements to clients
- Cultivate client relationships

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline is essential
- Master’s degree in Accounting is preferred

Experience: - A minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT or audit is required
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Background in internal control assessments is advantageous
- Familiarity with SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, and similar frameworks is preferred

Certifications: - CPA, CISA, CISSP, and other relevant certifications are preferred

Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Previous experience with ERP systems and databases is preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to plan and coordinate technology-centric audits
- Understanding of internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously or collaboratively
- Strong project management capabilities
