Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and testing our systems to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety, and other requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and define system requirements, including functional, performance, and interface requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system design documents, including architecture, interface, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system components and ensure overall system performance.
  • Conduct trade studies and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential system risks.
  • Develop and implement system test plans and procedures to ensure system functionality and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on digital signal processing.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of MATLAB and digital signal processing algorithms.
  • Experience with system integration and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with digital signal processing algorithm development for space-based systems.
  • Knowledge of radar processing and beam forming.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and phased array systems.
