About the Job:
Waste Connections is seeking a skilled Container Repair Welder to fill a critical role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our metal containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on metal containers using wire feed and ARC welding techniques
- Fabricate metal containers as needed
- Operate a forklift to move containers and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized storage yard
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to read, interpret, and document in writing
- Sufficient strength to handle large parts and tools
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, stoop, and work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using a forklift
- Valid driver's license for occasional use of company vehicle
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
