Key Responsibilities:
  • Review existing project data to determine soil export disposal options and propose additional soil samples as needed.
  • Seek approval of export soil at landfill and clean project fill sites, and oversee trucking and disposal of soil for our clients.
  • Generate proposals, purchase orders, and draft contracts for further review.
  • Review all Invoices to Clients and All Costs (Timberline and Non-Timberline) in DirtMarket AP and Client Invoice Spreadsheet for CTC.
  • Review and revise projects in the CTC as necessary, discussing Gain and Fade with the Operations Manager.
  • Review billing projections for projects and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Review existing background data, including Geotechnical reports, Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments, Existing Analytical Data, Sample Maps, construction drawings, and cut/fill drawings.
  • Review analytical data for various Environmental Screening Levels and propose follow-up test methods as needed.
  • Communicate proposed sample plans and test method requirements to DirtMarket Technicians or clients.
  • Coordinate in-field changes to sample plans with DirtMarket Technicians or clients.
  • Correspond with the lab for unique sample results, low RL / MDLs, and any interference issues.
  • Submit soil approval packages to landfills and clean fill sites, and contaminated soil profiles as needed for Class 2, RCRA and Non-RCRA Hazardous contamination.
  • Work with the Operations Manager and Technician to confirm that soil export from an approved site is coming from approved locations within the site.
  • Work with the Technician to find, propose, and approval haul routes and staging areas with clients.
  • Manage manifests and soil acceptance forms to ensure client has dumpsite/landfill approval documents as needed for the haul.
  • Train the Technician on all aspects of their job.
  • Work with the Project Technician and Operations Manager to carry out SWPPP Inspections and reporting with the assistance and oversight of the QSP.
  • Write all Ad-hoc reports and Annual Reports for the waterboard.
Requirements:
  • Good math skills and ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate would have a degree in a related field and relevant experience in soil export and environmental compliance.
