Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Laborer to join our team at Forterra Concrete Products, Inc. in Irving, Texas. As a Production Laborer, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing and production process of concrete products, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including fork trucks, front-end loaders, and bobcats, to move materials and perform construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform general manual labor tasks, such as loading, unloading, and moving materials, to support the production process.
  • Assist operators with machinery used in the production process, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Clean and maintain buildings, materials, and equipment throughout the plant, adhering to company OSHA safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior forklift and operator experience a plus.
  • Lock out/tag out certification required (will train to achieve certification).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment with all levels of employees.
  • Able to be self-motivated, takes initiative, and has positive problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, dedication, dependability, and timeliness.
  • Able to use hand tools and basic mathematics skills.
  • Ability to understand the English language and follow specific instructions and procedures.
