About the Job

At TelCom Construction Inc, we're seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you'll play a vital role in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction tasks, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
  • Install underground telecommunications cabling
  • Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
  • Clearly communicate with team members and complete daily production reports
  • Assist with site restoration efforts and maintain safe working habits
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
  • Have basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment and be able to use them safely
  • Regular and timely attendance is required, with potential for overtime, after-hours, and weekend work
  • Adhere to all OSHA and FMCSA/DOT regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment
  • Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders)
Physical Requirements
  • Climb into and out of equipment, lift/carry 50 lbs regularly, and up to 100 LBS as needed
  • Ability to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, and a hardhat
  • Exposure to dust, fumes, or other airborne pathogens may occur
