Job Overview

Position: Mechanical Assembler

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 am - 3:30 pm)

This role is essential within our manufacturing operations, concentrating on the assembly of mechanical components and products.

The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous attention to detail and a solid comprehension of assembly guidelines and schematics to guarantee that each element is accurately constructed and connected, upholding the high-quality benchmarks established by Celerity Staffing Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret and analyze Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, and Production Prints.
  2. Install mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, and hardware according to specifications.
  3. Integrate electrical components including circuit boards, digital displays, and sensors into main assemblies as per design.
  4. Adhere to work instructions for assembling mechanical and electrical units.
  5. Evaluate the quality of materials and parts utilized in production.
  6. Manage inventory of parts and tools required for the assembly process.
  7. Conduct basic troubleshooting as necessary.
  8. Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards.
  9. Test completed products for any defects.
  10. Lead factory acceptance testing of equipment.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  12. Adapt work hours to meet company demands.
  13. Provide training and support to colleagues as needed.
  14. Execute additional tasks as assigned.
