Job Title: Procurement Operations Manager

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Manager to lead the strategy of our supply chain transformation investments leveraging Source to Pay processes and system changes to reduce risk, reduce cost and enhance user experiences.

About the Role

This is a highly collaborative role where you will need to confidently work across the Microsoft Procurement organization at all levels to drive key initiatives and strategic projects. As we are breaking through barriers to drive transformation in Procurement, change is constant and is expected. In this dynamic era of AI, learning, conversations and empowerment are our team principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution, successful delivery and oversight of supply chain investments, continually documenting, monitoring and identifying ongoing opportunities for efficiencies in partnership with supply chain and engineering teams.
  • Manage complex tool requirements, understanding downstream implications to ensure effective, efficient and compliant workflows/processes for both internal and 3rd party tools.
  • Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders and become a trusted partner to help achieve business goals and resolve/escalate issues through resolution.
  • Partner with supply chain project leads on project plan and project schedule to ensure that project deadlines are met, assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Technology, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic capabilities – synthesize data into problem statements, design project approach, gain alignment across teams, and drive initiatives through successful execution.
  • Presentation skills - clear & concise storytelling and an ability to distill and deliver complex, ambiguous information to a variety of audiences.
