Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all on-site operations for high-rise residential, hospitality, and mixed-use construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and schedule standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of superintendents, assistant superintendents, and field personnel, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and office staff to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a secure work environment for all personnel.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications, guaranteeing that all work aligns with these documents.
  • Track project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may affect timelines or budgets.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they fulfill project requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to uphold quality control and address potential challenges.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and project success.
  • Provide consistent project updates to senior management, including the overseeing Project Executive.
Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction management, specifically in high-rise residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects valued at over $100 million.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with a hands-on approach to field operations.
  • Extensive experience in concrete construction; wood-frame experience is not applicable.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a solid understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience in Florida preferred, but candidates willing to relocate will be considered.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary up to $180,000 based on experience and qualifications.
