Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain air-conditioning units to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions
  • Assist with installing, replacing, or repairing damaged equipment
  • Inspect and service refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, and heat pumps
  • Assist with maintaining chilled and hot water supply systems
  • Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems
  • Assist with assembly and installation of metal ductwork
  • Participate in planning and designing new installations of heating and air-conditioning systems
  • Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of commercial HVAC experience
  • Ability to enter the Union and/or currently enrolled
  • Possess a valid and current Driver's License that meets the insurance requirements of the company
  • Push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10/30 Certified
  • Principles and practices of Heating, Venting, Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and repair
  • HVAC controls and safety devices
  • Computerized electrical circuits and systems
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
