Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the export process post-booking, focusing on optimizing loading procedures.
  • Tracking and tracing container activities to ensure timely documentation submission.
  • Providing comprehensive visibility on booking statuses and anticipating necessary actions for improved cargo control.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Booking, Cargo Flow, and Logistics to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communicating with customers regarding booking intentions and container activities.
  • Ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with established timelines.
Accountabilities:

Your role will also include:

  • Managing vessel milestones and ensuring compliance with cargo activity and documentation.
  • Responding to daily emails for problem resolution within set timeframes.
  • Generating and distributing Cargo Readiness Reports to provide insights on booking statuses.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements for enhanced cargo readiness.
Incident Management:

As part of your responsibilities, you will handle:

  • Management of export and import container incidents, including re-export and return processes.
  • Addressing issues related to hazardous placards and container conditions.
  • Utilizing tracking reports for effective incident case management.
Idle Management:

You will support the Idle Management team by:

  • Tracking idle containers and communicating with relevant parties to facilitate movement.
  • Reviewing idle reports and taking necessary actions as per standard operating procedures.
Documentation Support:

In this capacity, you will:

  • Respond to inquiries and facilitate urgent corrections related to documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with customer escalations.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service or logistics preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
